The 2018 “Dan Valentin Memorial” Citrus Valley Velo Training Camp will be held Friday, January 26th and Saturday, January 27th.

This year camp will vary slightly as we will have two groups (A and B). The groups are based on overall distance and average miles per hour with “Group A” being the fastest. Each group will have a road captain who will be responsible for keeping their group on course and riding together.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 26, 2018
Prior to the start of Friday’s ride, you will determine which group suits your riding ability and will check-in with the respective road captain. We will start as a team and follow a SAG support vehicle containing Danny Valentin’s bike. After a brief warm-up and in Danny’s honor, Group A (faster mph, longer distance and more climbing) will lead the way followed by Group B. SAG support will be provided for both Groups.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 27, 2018

Group A will meet at the starting location in Riverside and will ride to the Santa Ana River Trailhead at Green River to meet Group B at 10:15 AM. Family members are encouraged to meet us at Huntington Beach for lunch. This will also provide you a ride home as there will NOT be a shuttle service.
